How to Order

Browse through the site, checking what you require and send an enquiry to us either by filling in a form and submitting or sending us an email. Stock availability will be checked once we have received your order. If you need a larger quantity, or prefer to order by telephone, please call us direct, when we can check product availability as you order.

All prices are shown in £ sterling.

Payment

You can pay by cleared cheque or, Visa , Mastercard  credit card, Switch or Delta debit card details of which can be given over the phone by fax or by email.

Where can my order be delivered?

You can arrange to have your order delivered to any address that you want - your home, your work place, to a neighbour - just let us know when ordering - Delivery will be to Kerbside so it will be necessary for assistance to on hand to help the driver unload into your property. The product being delivered is likely to be heavy and too heavy for one person.

When ordering  you will be charged VAT. 

Worktops must be inspected prior to cutting/fitting as after this point they are deemed fit for purpose.

How much will delivery cost?

When will my order be delivered?

Usually within 10 working days but mostly can be  a lot quicker.

Data protection

Some of our services will require you to provide us with your name and address, and other relevant information. Personal information provided by you, and any other data relating to you, will be held by us and may be used by us for marketing purposes, including market research, or occasionally shared with other organisations in the prevention of fraud.

General Information

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. The price of an item is the price in store on the day of the order. We reserve the right to change any price before you place an order.

We try and ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate but the price on your order will need to be validated by us prior to processing your order. Where an item's correct price is higher than the price stated on your order we will contact you to let you know the correct price and give you the opportunity of cancelling before we dispatch the goods.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the whole range not on the site?

Development is in progress to increase the number of products available via the Internet. But, with over 100 products in the range it is important to make sure that we have the necessary systems and delivery service in place first.

How can I get a Worktop Solution catalogue?

We do not offer a catalogue mailing facility. We do have Brochures & Price lists of individual products which we can send out to you by snail or email if requested.

When will my order be delivered?

Most goods are delivered by our transport company usually within 10 working days from when you place your order. See Ordering and Delivery for more information. We do ask them to give you 24 hours notice in order to ensure there is someone to receive the goods.

1 Orders

1.1 Any purchase of our products will be governed by these terms to the exclusion of any other terms.

1.2 All products are subject to availability.

1.3 All orders are subject to acceptance by us. 

1.4 The quantity, quality and description of any specifications for the products shall be those set out in the site but you should be aware that the images appearing on the website are not always accurate. We reserve the right to correct errors and omissions in any price or other information without any liability.

 

 

 

2 Delivery

2.1 Due to limited availability of some of the products we sell, a particular item may be out of stock. Some lightweight items may be shipped separately by UK mail.

2.2 Delivery will be advised but please leave up to 10 days for delivery. In stock items will generally be dispatched the same day but some out of stock products may take longer. Any delivery date will be an estimate only. We shall not be liable for delays caused by matters outside our control.

2.3 Any claim based on any defect in quality or condition of the products must be notified to us within 7 days of delivery after which you will be deemed to have accepted the products.

2.4 Risk of damage to or loss of the product shall pass to you at the point at which they are delivered to you.

 

 

 

3 Payment

3.1 All prices are inclusive of VAT and delivery unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Where applicable Carriage will be charged as advised on receipt of your enquiry stating to where delivery should be made.

3.3 Payment is due on order. Payment will normally be debited from your card when you place the order.

3.4 Our catalogue prices and website prices are in UK currency. You may use through PayPal MasterCard, Visa,  Switch or you may mail to us a  personal cheque drawn on UK funds. 

3.5 All prices in our catalogues or website are subject to change without prior notice to reflect any increase in the cost to us.

4 Property

4.1 You will own the product once your payment has cleared.

4.2 Abroad Spectrum Ltd T/A Worktop Solution asserts all of its intellectual property rights in all of its promotional materials and trade marks.

5 Warranties and Liability

5.1 Abroad Spectrum Ltd shall not have any liability for the content of any websites which link into this site.

5.2 All products are supplied with a full UK supplier's guarantee, the details of which are available on request.

5.3 Where there is a defect in any of the products then we shall be entitled to replace the goods or the part in question free of charge or, at our discretion, refund to you the price of the product (or a proportionate part of the price) but we shall have no further liability other than that.

5.4 Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we will not be liable to you for any representation (unless fraudulent) or any implied warranty, condition or other term or any duty at common law or under the express terms of this contract for any indirect or consequential loss (whether for loss of profits or otherwise), cost expenses or other claims which arise out of the supply of the products and our entire liability will be limited to the value of the products purchased. All other warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the full extent permitted by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

6 Returned Goods

6.1 Any product that is returned as faulty must be first notified to Worktop Solution and a return number issued. On receipt of the faulty item, an identical replacement will be sent provided that the product is confirmed as faulty by Worktop Solution. Only if the product is confirmed as faulty will we pay carriage to and from our premises and we will not be liable for carriage charges in excess of the amounts agreed. All items returned must be in original condition together with the original packaging.

7 Export

7.1 If goods are to be shipped or used overseas, then it is your responsibility to ensure that the product is able to be shipped to and used in your country.

8 Further Information

8.1 We confirm that we will not pass on any of your information to any other company. The information we have about you will be stored on computer and your details added to our mailing list. 

9 General

9.1 You are not entitled to assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under this contract.

9.2 To the extent permitted by law, this contract shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

 

Cancellation

10.1 You may cancel any order at any time up to seven days after receipt of the goods provided that the goods are immediately returned to us and are still in their original packaging and undamaged.  However, you will be liable for any postage or carriage charges incurred.
